Data Controller

Wise Angle Consulting SL, a partner of the BRIGHTskills consortium whose office is at Barcelona Health Hub, Carrer de Sant Antoni María Claret 167, 08025 Barcelona, Spain is the controller of any personal data in this Privacy Policy.

We, Wise AngleConsulting SL, administrating this website for the purpose of the BRIGHTskills Project and on behalf of the BRIGHTskills consortium, consider the protection of your personal data and the preservation of your privacy a top priority.

Domain ownership

EIT Health e.V., Coordinator of the BRIGHTskills project, whose registered address is at Mies-van-der-Rohe-Str.1C, 80807 Munich, Germany, owns the domain https://bright-skills.eu (hereinafter, the “Site”). The domain name cannot be used in connection withother content, products and/or services that are not owned by the BRIGHTskills consortium or so that it may cause confusion among end users or discredit EITHealth e.V. or the BRIGHTskills consortium.

This Privacy Notice only applies to the Site operated by Wise Angle Consulting SL. Purposes of the processing

We process your data based on our legitimate interest in providing a well-functioning and secure website supporting the accomplishment of the BRIGHTskills’ Project objectives, based on Art. 6 section 1 f) GDPR.

Your data may be collected, used and stored in either electronic or hard copy for any of the following purposes:

  • To respond to your message when you use the contact form;
  • For monitoring and elaborating statistical analysis regarding the website use, in order to obtain valuable information so that we can improve the information and services offered by our website;
  • To detect, prevent and address technical issues;
  • To inform and invite you to register to the newsletter and BRIGHTskills initiatives;
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our project when you choose to do so.

When you fill out a contact form on our website, register for our newsletter or contact us in another way, we collect:

  • The content of your communication and the technical details of the communication itself (with whom you correspond at our end, date, time, etc.);
  • Your choice to receive our newsletter;
  • Any other personal data youchoose to provide to us.

We receive all personal data mentioned above directly from you. It may happen that we receive additional information about your surfing behaviour from partners such as Google. Non-Personal Data includes information that cannot be used to identify you, such as browser types, operating systems and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of the Site.

If you use the Contact Form on the Site

We process youre-mail address to contact you and respond to your message.

Any additional information, including personal data, you may choose to share with us through the Contact Form is only collected and processed for the purposes of communicating with you and responding to your message. The legal basis for this is your consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit a) GDPR.

If you subscribe to our Newsletter

We process your e-mail address to send you our newsletter with updates regarding the status and progress of the BRIGHTskills Project. This is based on your consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit a) GDPR.

Any additional information, including personal data, you share with us through the Newsletter Form is only collected and processed for the purposes of market analysis purposes to improve the Site and our communication with you. To send our newsletter, we use the service provider MailChimp. By subscribing to our newsletter, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to MailChimp for processing. Learn more about MailChimp’s privacy practices here.

Who has access to your personal data and why

We follow a purpose-specific data-access plan, to reduce the diffusion of personal data. Hence, according to the purpose for which we have collected your data we limit the access only to those necessary. All the members of our team are privacy-aware, and mindful to protect and preserve your privacy and data protection.

If you use the Contact Form on the Site

In principle, only the Site’s Administrator and the Project Coordinator have access to the data disclosed through the Contact Us Forms and the Newsletter Form. In case your message requires input from a specific member of the BRIGHTskills consortium, external boards and stakeholder communities or the European Commission and its Agencies, the content of your message will be safely transferred to the relevant subject after having obtained your consent.

If you subscribe to our Newsletter

Only the Site’s Administrator has access to the e-mail addresses and the data collected through the Newsletter Subscription Form.

Google Analytics and external scripts

This website uses functions of Google Analytics of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States, which support interest-based advertising and advertising based on user browsing behaviour. Google Analytics uses a third-party cookie from DoubleClick to evaluate data regarding users’ browsing behaviour on different websites. These data can be used to prepare statistical statements on demographic data and areas of interest of website users.

We expressly draw your attention to the fact that we cannot view data related to individual users and that the statistical data we use cannot be traced back to specific users.

BRIGHTskills may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary:

For how long we retain your data

We apply a purpose-specific policy to define the period for which we process and store your data. We process and store your personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage, or as far as this is granted by the European legislator or other legislators in laws or regulations to which the controller is subject to. If the storage purpose is not applicable, or if a storage period prescribed by the European legislator or another competent legislator expires, the personal data are routinely blocked or erased in accordance with legal requirements.

If you use the Contact Form on the Site

After our communication is completed, your personal data will not be reused unless in relation to your original request. We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal or accounting requirements).

If you subscribed to our Newsletter

We will process and store your data for as long for the duration of the BRIGHTskills Project (i.e., 48 months). If for some reason we stop having a newsletter we shall inform our subscribers and permanently erase your data in a secure way. Also, if you choose at any point to unsubscribe, we will promptly erase your data in a secure way. Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible at any time and can be done via a link provided for this purpose in each newsletter.
